Loop is committed to a privacy-first approach. We believe the time you spend playing β and everything about how you play β belongs to you, and no one else.
The only things Loop saves are your top-10 high scores for each of its five modes (Original, Easy(R), FTL, Purist, and Steady) β stored as bare numbers, with no names, dates, or identifiers attached β the last game mode you selected, and your settings (display theme, sound, effects and music, haptics, and first-time tips, including which tips you have already seen). All of it stays on your phone, in the App's own storage, which iOS sandboxes from every other app.
Loop contains no crash reporter, no diagnostics framework, and no logging that leaves your device. The only diagnostics we may ever see come from Apple itself: if you have opted in to "Share with App Developers" in Settings β Privacy & Security β Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and usage statistics with us through App Store Connect. That opt-in belongs to Apple, is governed by Apple's privacy policy, and can be switched off at any time.
Loop never connects to the internet. The game, its graphics, and its soundtrack are all bundled in the App or generated live on your device β no fonts, content, or ads are ever downloaded β so it plays exactly the same in airplane mode as it does anywhere else. There is no online leaderboard, no multiplayer, and no content that loads from a server.
Loop does not request any permissions:
The only input Loop reads is your taps on the screen while you play, processed locally and never transmitted to external servers.
Loop runs on Capacitor, an open-source app runtime that displays the game on your device. It includes no analytics or tracking and, like the rest of the App, makes no network requests.
Loop has no cloud save and no sync. Your scores may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backup if you have one turned on β that backup is made and kept by Apple under your Apple Account, and Loop never transmits anything itself. There is no account or password to lose, and nothing to recover from us: we never had a copy.
To delete your data:
Uninstalling removes all of Loop's data permanently from your device, and there is no way to restore scores afterward unless they are part of a device backup you made yourself.
