Data Collection Disclosure

Memo is committed to a privacy-first approach. We believe your personal relationships and social insights belong to you — and no one else.

Data We Collect: None

• No servers
• No cloud sync
• No tracking
• No analytics

On-Device Only

All data entered or generated in the app (contacts, notes, meetings, battery levels, insights, etc.) stays on your phone.

Optional Device Integrations

Memo may request the following permissions:

• Contacts Access (optional): To import your phone's address book into the app. We recommend you remove the permission after your initial import.
• Calendar Access (optional): To sync your local and cloud-based calendar events (Google, iCloud, Outlook). Feel free to disconnect the Calendars at any time.
• Notifications (optional): To remind you about birthdays, meetings, custom goals, and more. You can customize all notifications down to the tiniest detail, or disable them entirely for a distraction-free and proactive rather than reactive experience.

These integrations process data locally and never transmit it to external servers.

No External APIs or Third-Party SDKs

• No Facebook/Google login
• No data brokers
• No usage metrics
• No crash analytics (e.g. Firebase, Sentry)

Export & Backup

You can export your data locally from the app in a portable JSON format. This allows for backup or device migration — completely under your control.

Data Deletion

To delete your data:

• Use the "Reset Data" option in Settings
• Or uninstall the app

This will remove all data permanently from your device. Please remember to export your data first if you ever want to use Memo again!
