Memo - Relationship Manager

Your privacy is our priority. Memo ("the App") is built with privacy at its core by design. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data remains strictly on your device! This means that only you can be held responsible for where you store your data and how you handle it, and for how you secure your devices' memory and files. If you make a backup of your data via the Export Data function, make sure to store the generated file in a safe location, and to not share it with a third party unless intentional.

We do not:

Track you
Display ads
Sell or share your data
Use third-party analytics

The app is 100% free of any tracker or form of data collection. We cannot use any of your data for testing or development.

2. Data Storage and Access

All information — contacts, meeting notes, feeling scores, goals, reminders, etc. — is stored locally using your device's secure local storage. You are in full control of your data.

Optional integrations, such as calendar sync and contact import, access only the data required and only with your consent. This access is limited to device-local processing. You can remove permissions at all times without causing any issue to the app's functioning (it is made to be able to work without any permission).

3. Calendar and Contacts Access

With your explicit permission, Memo may access:

Contacts: To help you import people into your network. The Contact import feature will require access to your phone's contacts to import them into the app's local storage. No data from your contact leaves your device. Feel free to remove the Contact access permission right after import!
Calendars (Google, Outlook, iCloud): To sync your social calendar, the app needs to connect to these providers via secure authentication. You can remove the integrations at any time, but you won't be able to import further meetings and events into Memo.

This access is never used to send data outside your device or for analytics.

4. Notifications

The App may send local notifications based on your settings and goals. These are generated and managed locally on your device. You can fully customize the notifications experience, and you can of course choose to use the app without any notifications.

5. Security

We use modern local storage methods to ensure data persistence and protection. However, we cannot control device-level access (e.g., if your phone is compromised), as well as control where and how you store your backup files.

6. Your Rights

Because Memo does not collect or process personal data externally:

There is no need to request access or deletion.
You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app or using the in-app data reset function.

We do not enable cloud-storage for your data, everything is stored in your local storage. You must therefore take preventive actions to not lose your data if the app is uninstalled, your device is damaged, or any other reason resulting in the data being corrupted or lost. Use the app's export feature and store the export file in a safe location.

To import data on a new device or if you choose to go back to using Memo after deleting the app, use the import function and select your export file saved locally.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If substantial changes are made, we will notify users through app updates.
